Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Woplist (“Woplist”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Woplist app and website (our “Services”) handle, why, and the choices you have.

By using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully.

Our principles

  • Purpose: we use information only for clear purposes that we explain to you.
  • Necessity: we limit information to what is needed to provide our Services.
  • Transparency: we tell you, in plain language, how information is handled.
  • Security: we take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
  • Accountability: we take responsibility for following this policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Services offered by Woplist. It does not apply to the practices of other companies, websites or services, including any linked from our Services.

Information we collect

Information you add in the app. This includes the VIP contacts you add, your schedules, focus modes and settings. This information is stored on your device.

Call information. To decide whether an incoming call should ring, Woplist uses the caller's number on your device. Calls that Woplist turns away are listed in the app on your device so you can review them.

Permissions. Woplist may ask for access to your contacts and to send notifications. Both are optional and are only requested when you use a feature that needs them. You can change them at any time in your phone's settings.

Website. When you visit our website, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to operate and secure the site. Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We do not currently receive your call history, contacts or app settings, and we do not sell your personal information.

How we use information

  • To provide and operate the features of Woplist.
  • To show you calls that were turned away, and alerts if you turn them on.
  • To keep our website secure and working.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:

  • with service providers that help us operate our Services, such as website hosting;
  • when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or others;
  • as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

New features

If we introduce optional features such as accounts, in-app purchases or advertising, we will update this Privacy Policy before they become available and, where required, ask for your consent.

How long we keep information

Information stored on your device stays there until you delete it in the app or uninstall Woplist. Older entries in the list of calls turned away are removed automatically.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

  • Allow or remove contacts and notification access in your phone's settings.
  • Delete calls from your history in the app at any time.
  • Uninstall Woplist to remove the information it stored on your device.

Depending on where you live, including under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to its processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
